Worst design ever!. Brews as it should, but when I put 10 cups of water in it, I only get about 9 cups of brewed coffee. Where did the rest of the water go? Also, this pot leaks everywhere when pouring. We always have a rag nearby to wipe up the mess. You would think this company would test their products before putting them on the market. Their other designs with the taller pots work much better. For some reason this short, fat pot has some issues. Do not recommend!!

Defective cleaning cycle from the get-go. This review is for the JWX31 model. I had the JWX27 model and ruined it by running an apple cider mix through it. Dumb me. Well the JWX27 was a great MR. Coffee pot so I was going to buy another one but couldn't find it so I purchased this JWX31 with the only difference being that it had more stainless steel in its design or so I thought. This model did not have the dual water windows in the tank as described. I've had instances where the pause when pouring a cup during brew didn't work and had coffee all over the plate. Now when it came time to clean the pot, which was a feature I loved from the old model, it would only brew one cup of vinegar and then stop. The second time came to clean it and the same thing happened. I ended up just doing it manually. I've only had the coffee pot for four months and is still under warranty but the service centers are hours away so I probably would have to mail it. Not so sure it's worth it. Mr. Coffee this pot stinks!

It's not a coffee maker, it's a steam machine. This is the WORST COFFEE MAKER EVER DESIGNED. All it does is make steam and noise. When we put in 12 cups of water, it now only makes 6 cups of coffee. Regularly makes 4-6 cups of coffee less than the amount of water we put in. The rest of the water just comes out the top. I will never purchase a Mr. Coffee product ever again.

Works Great. Pouring coffee out of a carafe is not rocket science. If you open the lid while pouring it, it is going to spill. Therefore, don't open the lid while pouring. They put it there for a reason ya know! Also, every coffee maker uses more water than you put in, so just add a little extra. The Cuisinart that I just replaced used about an extra cup, this one does too, it doesn't take a genius to know that when water is hot it evaporates. This coffee maker works great, the only people who would give it one star are the ones that probably shouldn't be using a coffeemaker in the first place!

Spout leaks. This coffee pot, no matter how fast or slow you pour it, it leaks....I would love to see the president of Mr Coffee trying to pour coffee out of this pot without it leaking. Then maybe then he might call his design staff in and fire them all. This is a common porblem for some of the Mr Coffee products but they don't seem to care
